Throughout her career, Fiona has honed her expertise while working at two of Australia’s largest personal injury firms, earning her appointment as a partner in 2014. Fiona prides herself on providing clear, up-front and personalised advice so that her clients understand the process and the potential outcomes in their claim every step of the way.
Fiona knows how to run claims efficiently and how to achieve the best possible outcomes and is committed to advocating for what her clients deserve. Throughout her career Fiona has had the opportunity to work for hundreds of clients and loves that her work makes a real difference when they are often facing one of the most difficult challenges in their life.
Meet Mala Heffernan, Director & Principal Lawyer
Mala completed a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Business in 2010 graduating with first class honours and was awarded a University Medal for outstanding academic achievement.
Mala is an accomplished lawyer having worked in personal injury law since 2010 and was a Principal Lawyer at a national personal injury law firm prior to starting L&H Injury Lawyers with Fiona. She has represented hundreds of people who have been injured through no fault of their own and is driven by a genuine desire to ensure they receive the highest standard of legal representation. She prides herself on going above and beyond to maximise the rehabilitation and compensation her clients receive whilst providing compassion, guidance and support throughout the claim process.
Mala is a member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance and Queensland Law Society and President of the Sunshine Coast Law Association. She was also a finalist in the Women Lawyers Association of Queensland Regional Women Lawyer of the Year Award.
